Chaku-Chaku line

A production line consisting of single piece flow in which a part is removed from one machine and loaded into the next, either in the direction of or opposite of process operations. Many times the machines are made to automatically unload the part when its operation is complete, giving rise to the term chaku-chaku which means, literally, "load-load." A video of a chaku-chaku line may help explain the concept.
